The simple beauty of flowers inspires every aspect of life. From our birth to our passing, flowers are present at every step of our path.
Whether displaying flowers is your profession or hobby, whether you are a teacher or student, this art places you at the centre of a cultural activity which dates back to ancient Egyptian civilization, some 5,000 years ago.
My journey to becoming a flower designer started a modest number of years ago.
Japanese flower arrangements surrounded me as a child, but the displays were always set in only one place in the house. When I saw European flower displays for the first time, I was enthralled by the freedom in which flowers could be both arranged and displayed.
After receiving a dried flower and spice arrangement as a present from my host family in Austria, I purchased a flower arrangement book, and thus my journey began….
Starting in the United Kingdom studying flower arrangement at Constance Spry Flower School, Gayle Derrick Flower School, Pulbrook & Gould, Paula Pryke, I learned not only the technique of arranging both classical and modern arrangements but also the symbolic cultural meanings of different flowers.
My time working with these wonderful designers still continues to this day.
I have been very fortunate to have had the chance to work collaboratively with some wonderfully creative people, creating flower designs that have enhanced some of the most important moments in life.
As the years go by, my repertoire has diversified, encouraging me to explore the range of possibilities in creating the quintessential arrangement for each occasion.
I have come to realize that whatever the occasion, arranging flowers for these special moments is a privilege.
Spacia Flowers brighten the atmosphere in many places and at many functions and events. Initiating a fresh and inspirational approach to arrangement, Spacia Flowers are designed to suit each occasion; classical, traditional or modern, contemporary.

都内のディスプレイ会社にて、ブティックのウィンドウディスプレイやファッションショー、レストランの装花､ブライダルのデコレーション、ブライダル雑誌の仕事に携わる。
渡英し、Constance Spry Flower School、Gayle Derrick Flower School、Pulbrook & Gould、Paula Prykeなどで学ぶ。
帰国後、スタジオ「Spacia スペイシア」を設立。
イベントの装花、ブライダル雑誌の撮影、フラワーアレンジメントの教室、創作活動を行っている。
1998年
千疋屋ギャラリー（東京）にてロンドンで活躍するテキスタイル・デザイナー、Hikaru Noguchiとニットと花のジョイント展を開催。
1999年
フランス年のイベントとしてフランスのウェディングドレスのブランド「CYMBELINE シンベリン」のファッションショーの装花を担当。
2000年
東京新宿伊勢丹B.P.Q.C内のブーケショップ
「more than words」の店長として立ち上げに参加。
2003年
国際文化会館アートサロン（東京）にて作曲家加藤正則氏と音楽と花のコラボレーションを行う。
2006年
サントリーミュージアム（大阪）、国際文化会館（東京）にて「Japonism花籠展」を開催。
